So Sick Just Got Sicker
S.I.R is here for our slow jam Sunday!
Today is a personal favourite of mine. The single that launched Ne Yo’s career is remixed, mashed up and sounding awesome.
To remind you, Ne Yo struck gold, or rather platinum, based off So Sick. This song was based on a past relationship that went wrong. Apparently, Ne Yo loved this one girl and ended up cheating on her (umm…okay, weird right?).
Whenever he heard this one song he couldn’t help but think of what he had. Funny, as the song that reminded him of his ex wasn’t very popular but it seemed to pop up everywhere. To this day we don’t know what the song is but what we do know is that So Sick shot up to number 1 on the Billboard charts in 2006 and launched this R&B crooner’s career.
Ne Yo – So Sick
S.I.R may have revitalized an old favourite but mashing and remixing it with a beat from Thug 69. I can’t seem to find that track but I am not really caring as I relish in some slow jam goodness.
It’s a little faster but somehow keeps the slowness from the original. Notice in the 3 minute mark with the guitars. Always a heart string puller in my books.

S.I.R also played around with another remix that uses the beats over Leona Lewis’ Bleeding Love. Although good, my vote still goes for So Sick.
